We honestly should have just closed down the shop for the weekend, because a large number of FBR's employees, racers, and shop friends were out in force at the Zia Rides 24 Hours in the Enchanted Forest last weekend. With Solo racers, Men's Duo, and a 4 Woman Team (which ended up only having 3 women), the Flag Bike Rev crew cleaned up, all while cheering each other on and having a good time. Even our non-FBR racers that competed came out with strong finishes.
Alex Leonard and our mechanic, Mike "Dr. World Champ" Vanderberg took first place in the Men's Duo, completing 20 laps total (a distance of 262 miles). Artec Durham took third in the Men's Solo, with a total of 209 miles over 16 laps. Quite the finish guys!
Our racers Chase Edwards and Erin Osborne, along with Erin Cahill, took on the Female 4 man team (yes, they were missing a 4th by the time race-day arrived). They completed a whopping 21 laps for 275 miles. Yeah ladies!
A few of our shop friends, Vance Peterson, Karin Wadsack, John Dailey, and George Cummins, competed in a 4-man coed team and took 5th for their category. Way to crush it FBR crew! We always love getting out and riding and cheering you all on!
