Prescott, Wild West, and Sea Otter - It's been quite the week!

It has been quite the week for FBR racers. Several races went down over the course of the past week and a half with some exciting results. Each and every one of our racers put in their best efforts and we as a shop cannot help but smile and do a fist pump in the air for them.

Starting with the Prescott Punisher on the 15th, John Sawasky and Jerrad Cooper hammered hard and took 5th and 6th consecutively in the Expert Men's Open. In the Expert Women's Open, Chase Edwards and Erin Osborne took 3rd and 4th consecutively. Finn Perelstein took first in the Junior Boys (13-14) category. Also, a big congratulations to John Sawasky for becoming a Grassroots Rider for Kona Bikes!

Shooting forward a week, we had a couple of events happening. Three of our Viceroy's went to the Zia Ride's 12 Hours in the Wild West. Alex Leonard took 6th place, Matt Pacheco took 7th, and Artec Durham took 10th place in the Men's Pro Solo. Nice work guys!

Lastly, Scott Countryman drove out to Monterey, CA for the Sea Otter Classic this past Thursday-Sunday. Sea Otter is a major event in the bike world, with every major manufacturer there showcasing their newest and greatest. The expo also conducts races in every discipline of cycling - from road crits to downhill mountain biking. Scott competed in two events (Enduro and Downhill) but the big finish was 1st place in the Men's Downhill (Hardtail category). Way to send it on a Honzo! Next week will be The Dirty Sanchez Enduro in Grass Valley - best of luck, dude!
